CELEBRATING OUR PEOPLE
Honoring Dr. Elizabeth Conde — Mission Talk Anniversary
This month we celebrate Dr. Elizabeth Conde, one of our pillars of leadership and faith. Her dedication and wisdom have profoundly shaped Mission Talk’s growth and our commitment to developing servant leaders. Dr. Conde’s work reminds us that transformation begins with people who lead with humility, courage, and a vision for justice. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to empowering the Latino Church and for continuously reminding us that our calling is both sacred and practical.

REFLECTION OF THE MONTH:
“A SEASON OF PURPOSE AND GRATITUDE”
As we enter November, a season of gratitude and reflection, let us pause to remember why we do what we do. Our mission — to equip and mobilize the Latino Church — is not just an organizational goal; it’s a spiritual calling to bring justice and dignity to everyday spaces. Each meeting, training, or policy effort we support becomes a seed of transformation in someone’s life.
Gratitude refocuses our hearts on what truly matters. In the midst of challenges, God reminds us that His work continues through us — through our compassion, our diligence, and our unity. Let us keep serving faithfully, knowing that small actions done with great love can ripple outward to change entire communities.
“And let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart.” – Galatians 6:9
WORK-LIFE BALANCE CORNER
Mission Talk believes in holistic well-being — honoring both the mission and the people who carry it forward. Here are a few reminders this month:
Protect your peace. Take breaks without guilt. Even five minutes of silence or prayer can reset your mind.
Celebrate small wins. End each week by acknowledging one meaningful success — personal or professional.
Stay connected. Reach out to a coworker for a coffee chat or prayer time. Healthy connections strengthen the mission.
Rest is sacred. Make time for sleep, creativity, and family moments. Productivity flows from restoration.
FAMILY & COMMUNITY MOMENTS FOR NOVEMBER
Thanksgiving Gratitude Circle – Gather with your family or friends and share one story of how you’ve seen God’s faithfulness this year.
Acts of Kindness Week – Choose one day this month to serve together: write encouragement cards, visit a neighbor, or support a local family in need.
Family Reflection Walk – Take a nature walk, bring a warm drink, and let each person share one hope for the coming year.
These simple practices nurture the same compassion and community spirit that Mission Talk promotes through its work across Latino churches and communities.
